About the Role

The Massage Therapist position offers the chance to serve a diverse clientele, with flexible scheduling options available to suit your preferences. Candidates should be prepared for flexible shifts, ranging from 10 am to 8 pm, including weekends, to meet the diverse needs of our clients. This contractor role will be a start date in two weeks and requires weekend availability. Our centre fosters a warm and inviting atmosphere and we seek a massage therapist to assist in establishing a strong presence in the community and nurturing relationships with our clientele.

Duties/Responsibilities

Delivering massage therapy sessions to clients, specialising in relaxation, prenatal and deep tissue techniques.

Warmly welcoming guests and ensuring their complete satisfaction by surpassing expectations during their Wellness journey.

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards by promptly refreshing massage linens and sanitising treatment rooms between appointments.

Upholding the cleanliness, safety and compliance of massage facilities at all times to ensure a comfortable and secure environment for clients.

Participating in regular meetings with the owners to review feedback, coordinate schedules and brainstorm new initiatives aimed at enhancing client experience and business growth.

Skills/Experience:

Must hold at least one of the following: Whole Body Massage Certificate, Certificate IV in Massage Therapy (HLT42021), a Diploma of Remedial Massage (HLT52015) or Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy (22316VIC).

Must be registered with the appropriate professional association/s.

Must have active Professional Indemnity, Public & Products Liability Insurance.

Able to work autonomously.

Current valid police check or willing to get one.

Rights to work in Australia.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrate flexibility in availability, being open to working weekends, evenings, school holidays and public holidays as necessary to meet the demands of the role.
