Chillin NT is seeking a Part Time or Casual Electrician to join our team in Darwin, NT. As a casual Part Time Electrician, you will be responsible for supervising an apprentice and ensuring our electrical projects are completed to the highest standard. This is a great opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for a flexible work arrangement.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and mentoring an apprentice electrician

Signing COCs

Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

Providing on-site technical guidance and support to the apprentice

Signing off the apprentices hours to satisfy the TAFE course

Act as the nominee for the companies electrical contractors licence

What we're looking for

Current unrestricted Electrical License

Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified electrician

Supervisory and mentoring skills

Prefer that the candidate has completed the electrical contractor modules or is willing to complete them

20 to 40 hours per week
