Care Arc Pty Ltd is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and culturally aware Female Disability Support Worker to support participants located in South East Melbourne/Victoria, with a focus on areas such as Dandenong and surrounds.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about person-centred care and can build genuine connections. Fluency in both English, Dari and Hazaragi is essential, as is the ability to communicate respectfully and clearly with participants and the wider support team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a valued team member, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised support, including:

Providing personal care such as showering, grooming, and hygiene assistance

Assisting with domestic duties, including cleaning and laundry

Preparing nutritious meals as required

Supporting community access for appointments, shopping, and social activities

Encouraging independence and skill-building through daily routines

Maintaining accurate documentation and professional communication

Collaborating with allied health professionals and family members as needed

Essential Requirements:

Fluent in English, Dari or Hazaragi

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Valid First Aid and CPR certificates

A driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle

Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Desirable Attributes:

Prior experience in the disability or community care sector

Knowledge of person-centred and culturally responsive care

Ability to work independently, with a high level of reliability and empathy
