About the role

Join the dedicated team at Metro Dental as a Dental Assistant based in our New Farm practice. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting our dentist in delivering high-quality patient care. As a key member of our close-knit team, you will contribute to the smooth running of our busy practice and ensure our patients have a positive experience from start to finish.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting the dentist during examinations and procedures
• Sterilising and preparing dental instruments and equipment
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring they feel comfortable
• Handling front desk duties, such as booking appointments and managing patient inquiries
• Contributing to the overall efficiency and organisation of the dental practice

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant optional
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Flexibility and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A genuine interest in the dental industry and a passion for delivering quality patient care
