Metalair is one of Sydney’s most efficient and dependable manufacturers of sheetmetal products servicing commercial and industrial markets throughout NSW. Established in 1978, we specialise in the fabrication of Sheetmetal ductwork, insulation of the ductwork and professional installation.

We are seeking applications from experienced and qualified metal fabricators/duct installers

Qualifications / Licences requirements

Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Proficiency with a variety of sheet metal tools and welding equipment.

High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

Demonstrated experience on commercial sites.

Ability to work in fast-paced environments whilst not compromising the quality of work.

Relevant qualifications and Certificates in Sheet Metal Work.

Tasks & responsibilities

Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job, material
and equipment requirements.

Manufacture various ducting components, straights, square & radius bends, transitions, square to round, square bends, S bends, round & oval spigots,tubes, drip trays, etc.

Operate CAMduct AutoCAD Fabrication software to enter the job specification as per the blue print of the project in order to cut job in the CNC plasma cutter.

An attractive salary is available to the chosen applicant(s) Salary on offer will range from $73,200.00 to $80,000.00 gross plus benefits, allowances and overtime.
