I'm currently working with a leading financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Avaloq Engineers with deep Avaloq expertise. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-impact technology team and play a key role in delivering next-generation digital capabilities across data, platforms, and specialised applications.

The role sits within a forward-thinking Agile environment, where innovation and customer-centricity are at the heart of every delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Avaloq platform delivery in line with best practices and internal standards

Design and implement scalable solutions that align with business and technology strategy

Define and promote coding and quality standards across engineering teams

Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for Avaloq systems

Oversee Avaloq release processes including packaging, stream management, and scripting

Liaise directly with Avaloq on kernel and platform-related issues

Technical Expertise

Avaloq Certified Professional (ACP)

Experience in financial or banking application environments

Strong understanding of banking operations, trade lifecycle, and superannuation/investment products

Skilled in Oracle and PL/SQL, with experience in SQL performance tuning

Proficient with Avaloq development tools such as ICE and SQL Developer

Familiarity with ADAI (Avaloq Database Automation and Integration) is highly advantageous

Strong knowledge of Avaloq modules and components including scripts, workflows, fees, messaging, and reporting frameworks

Hands-on experience with Avaloq release processes and Unix scripting is desirable
