Tangara School for Girls is currently seeking a highly engaged Secondary Mathematics/Science Teacher to commence in a full-time role from Term 2, 2025. To be successful in this role, you will need to confidently demonstrate the following experience:

Qualifications and an outstanding knowledge of both subject specialisms.

Demonstrated ability and experience providing quality teaching of Mathematics in stages 4-6.

Demonstrated ability and experience providing quality teaching of Science in stages 4-5.

Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.

Capacity to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of a diverse range of students.

Capability in introducing and, where required, executing ideas to enhance our Secondary school.

Personally, you will be able to offer:

Ability to positively manage students' classroom behaviour, and manage pastoral care issues with effective discussion and processes with staff, students, and parents.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and a commitment to ongoing evaluation and improvement.

Strong organisational skills.

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to establish a professional rapport with students, staff, and the school community at all levels.

Highly ethical and professional behaviour and standards.

Understanding of, and support for the Vision, Mission, Values and ethos of the school.
