Communications and Marketing Officer (Leisure and Arts)
- Maximum Term Contract - Part Time - 15.2 hpw until 12 February 2026
- Salary: $80,680 pa (pro-rata) + super
- Location: Ringwood
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and enthusiastic communications specialist to join our team at Maroondah.
We are looking for someone with a passion for health and wellbeing who has the skills and experience to plan and deliver communications and marketing campaigns and activities to support our seven Maroondah Leisure facilities, and the services provided by our Sport, Recreation and Events, and Creative Places teams.
Your creative flair and industry knowledge will continue the success of our Maroondah Leisure facilities, including acquisition campaigns, member communications, brand management and maintenance of online and digital platforms.
You will also assist with the delivery of communication and marketing campaign requirements for our Sport, Recreation and Events, and Arts and Cultural development teams.
You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships across various service areas.
With a passionate attitude to go the extra mile and a willingness to share knowledge and collaborate with others, you will add to our open, supportive and results-driven culture. With a few years already under your belt, you'll be ready to bring your wealth of knowledge and creative thinking to the team.

About Maroondah City Council
Maroondah City Council was constituted as a new municipality on 15 December 1994. The City of Maroondah is made up of three wards, with each ward represented by three Councillors.
