Heidelberg Dermatology is looking for a dedicated Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will require you to work across two locations: Heidelberg and East Melbourne.

Position Overview: As a valued member of our clinic, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of high-quality patient care in a busy dermatology practice. You will work closely with our experienced medical professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with minor dermatological procedures and treatments

Maintain sterilisation protocols for instruments and equipment to meet health and safety standards

Communicate pathology results to patients in a clear and professional manner

Respond to patient enquiries related to medical care, under the direction of the dermatologist

Perform wound care, including suture removal and application of appropriate dressings

Provide patient education on dermatological conditions and treatment plans, including pre- and post-care instructions, as advised by the dermatologist

Assist with clinical photography to capture accurate images for patient records and treatment planning

Support the delivery of UV phototherapy treatments, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process

Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as required

Ensure that doctor and procedure rooms are kept clean, organised, and meet the clinic's high standards of hygiene

Uphold a clean, efficient, and organised clinical environment across both Heidelberg and East Melbourne sites

Key Requirements:

Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) with AHPRA

Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in dermatology

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

A caring and patient-centered approach to nursing

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Availability to work across both Heidelberg and East Melbourne locations
