Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is looking to employ a STEM teacher to join the team at Gilson College, Taylors Hill. This is a Part-Time fixed term (0.6 FTE) teaching position, open to graduates for an immediate start.

The focus of the classroom teacher is on the planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes. The classroom teacher will teach a range of students/classes and is accountable for the effective delivery of their programs. The classroom teacher utilizes critical reflection to improve knowledge and skills to better engage students and improve their learning. An integral aspect of the planning is to embed the characteristics and values of the Seventh-day Adventist school system in all aspects of learning and teaching.

Role Requirement:

• Hold a minimum of a Bachelor of Education
• Hold Registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching or be eligible to apply for registration
