The Role
Genus Infrastructure is seeking Crane Operators for their new Western Power Project.

The main duties of the Crane Operator include are but not limited to;

• Provide advice in Crane Operations to the project team.
• Inspect machines and equipment daily, perform routine maintenance procedures and minor repairs as required and initiate additional repair requests from mechanics when necessary.
• Control cranes, lifts and other equipment using standard operating procedures to ensure effective transportation of materials and safety for all personnel on site.
• Provide additional support to other crane operators as necessary, to complete tasks, operating several types of equipment and training or monitoring junior operators.
• Maintain high level of responsibility of plant and equipment to prevent overuse and promote longevity.

Essential Requirements/Skills/Qualifications

• Demonstrated good safety record and knowledge of Work Health & Safety.
• Valid Driver’s Licence – “HR” Class.
• 3+ years’ experience in Crane Operation.
• CPR Certificate.
• WHS Construction Safety Induction White Card.
• High Risk Licence applicable to the equipment: non-slewing mobile cranes (CN), Slewing mobile cranes(C2).
• Willingness and ability to travel to other depots or worksites to complete project work as required

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in utilities and/or construction and/or resources industry.
• Mechanically minded.
• Senior First Aid Certificate
