You will work as part of the Institute of Health and Wellbeing’s team of academic and administrative staff and will possess proven educational, research and professional experience and seek to embed long and short-term research strategies for the Institute within the strategic framework of the University. Key Duties may vary across roles, however at the core of these roles you will:
Contribute to the development and delivery of speech pathology units at undergraduate and graduate levels
Contribute to research, publish scholarly work, and supervise student research projects
Provide clinical supervision and coordinate student placements with industry partners
Contribute to the administrative functions of the institute
Engage with the profession through industry partnerships and professional bodies
Our ideal candidates will have:
Masters/PhD in Speech Pathology or related discipline with registration (or eligibility) with Speech Pathology Australia
Experience in teaching and curriculum development at tertiary level,
Evidence of research expertise and clinical experience appropriate to career stage
Excellent communication and organisational skills with ability to work collaboratively
Commitment to student-centered learning and innovation in speech pathology education
