About the role

We are seeking an experienced Arborist Crew Manager to join our dynamic team at TDD Tree Services Pty Ltd in Brisbane, QLD. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing our arborist crews to ensure the efficient and safe delivery of tree maintenance and removal services for our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the daily activities of arborist crews, ensuring they are working safely and efficiently

Monitor and report on crew productivity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed

Provide on-site supervision and guidance to crew members, addressing any issues or concerns that arise

Ensure all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced

Foster a strong safety culture within the team, enforcing relevant policies and procedures

Support the professional development of crew members through training and mentorship

Allocate crew and equipment to jobs to ensure efficient use of resources to complete works

What we're looking for

Previous experience working in an arborist crew with a proven track record of leading and managing a crew

Demonstrated expertise in tree care and maintenance

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle a variety of on-site challenges

Proficient in the use of arboricultural equipment, tools, and software

Current driver's licence, MR preferred but not required, and the ability to operate a variety of heavy machinery
