About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Licensed Electrician to join the team at Powell Renewable Energy in Sydney, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various renewable energy systems, with a primary focus on solar PV installations.

What you'll be doing

Perform electrical installations, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing renewable energy systems

Carry out preventative maintenance and repair work as required

Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards

Provide exceptional customer service to our clients

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work undertaken

Training apprentices

What we're looking for

A valid and current Electrical License, with experience in the renewable energy industry

Strong practical and technical skills in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar PV systems

Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety

Excellent communication and customer service skills

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

SAA Accreditation (Design and Installation) preferred or willingness to obtain

A strong work ethic and self-motivated

Working at Heights Certificate or willing to obtain

A valid driver's license
