Jubilee Christian College offers a high-quality, Prep to Year 12 distance education program to families across Queensland, grounded in a Biblical worldview.

We are currently seeking an innovative and passionate Senior English teacher to join our exceptional Distance Education team for a 1 term contract (with the possibility of an extension). Our DE staff are experienced, collaborative, and genuinely supportive—making this an ideal environment for educators who value teamwork and connection.

The ideal candidate will inspire students through engaging, Christ-centred learning experiences that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of literature. We are looking for someone who can build a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and reach their full potential.

Key Criteria:

Experience in distance education or with online learning platforms is desirable but not essential.

Familiarity with the Queensland Senior Syllabus and ATAR system would be advantageous.

While the DE department is based in Atherton, remote work from within Queensland may be considered for the right applicant.

Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers is essential.
