As the Senior Business Analyst in the Strategy & Experience Team you will be passionate about working in an organisation which is driven by its purpose to help Victorians find a way forward when they are faced with a workers compensation dispute.

You will support the delivery of the Workplace Injury Commission's transformative program, Program Elevate. The Program encompasses four interdependent projects including a service model redesign, case management system replacement, a business classification scheme and organisation design to align the changes.

Contributing your technical expertise you will set up key processes, procedures and standards within projects with a focus on delivering enhancements to existing services in addition to new services to improve and support the user experience for our clients.

As a People Leader of a small team, you will provide clear leadership, direction, guidance, coaching, and mentorship for business analysts at WIC.


Who we're looking for:

With proven experience in leading and delivering project-related business analysis activities, you will demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a complex (preferably government) operating environment.
  • Extensive experience in mapping current business processes to BPMN 2.0 standard or similar and applying business analysis techniques, method and tools e.g. requirements elicitation and analysis, process analysis and modelling, cost benefit analysis, decision and root cause analysis
  • Proven ability to design, organise, and facilitate workshops tailored to diverse key stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using PM, process and data analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Miro, Power BI and other relevant software.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to provide mentorship, direction and commitment, whilst working in a team environment.
