About the role

We are seeking experienced MC Tug Drivers to join our client's in Tullamarine on their PM shift. This is a casual ongoing position, offering full time hours Monday to Friday starting at 4.00pm with potential to start earlier as per operational requirements. Opportunity for full time after probationary period. As an MC Tug Driver, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of prime movers and trailers in preparation for the weeks delivery schedule.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maneuver MC-class prime movers to tow and move trailers, equipment, and cargo within the DC environment

Follow all DC and workplace safety procedures to ensure the safe transportation of cargo & trailers

Perform pre-operational checks and maintenance on tug vehicles to maintain their optimal condition

Assist with loading and unloading of cargo as needed

Communicate effectively with logistics personnel

Adhere to all relevant transport regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Valid MC (Multi-Combination) driver's license

Demonstrated experience operating and maneuvering large vehicles, such as tugs or heavy machinery, in a fast paced logistics & transport environment

Excellent communication & problem solving skills

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

Forklift license is advantageous but not essential

Must be available to start at 4PM daily with flexibility to start earlier if / when required

Pay Rate:

$48.00 per hour plus OT!!!!!!!
