About the role

My Playground Quality Care is seeking an NDIS experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in our Melbourne office on a contract basis. In this vital role, you will work closely with our clients to provide comprehensive occupational therapy services, with a focus on helping individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life. NDIS experience essential.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalised treatment plans

Implementing evidence-based interventions to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals

Providing training and support to clients and their families to promote self-care and independent living skills

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care

Maintaining detailed client records and documentation to track progress and outcomes

Participating in regular team meetings and professional development activities

What we're looking for

Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation or community-based setting

Excellent clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families

Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a diverse caseload
