Our client is one of the leading Territory suppliers of equipment, tools and welding consumables to Industry, Engineering, Mining and remote locations across the Northern Territory. They are a dedicated team who specialise in specific fields to assist customers on a more technical level.

We are currently seeking a Warehouse/Sales Assistant to join our clients Darwin operation. This positon is suited to people who have warehousing and retail sales experience with a strong focus on customer service.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Customer service and over counter sales
• General warehousing/stores duties
• Operate forklift
• Process customer orders and respond to requests relating to product knowledge and price
• Maintain showroom
• Maintain stock
• Housekeeping

Requirements and Attributes:

• LF licence (desirable)
• C class drivers licence
• Customer service experience
• Welding/gas product knowledge (desirable)
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• Ability to problem solve
• Enthusiastic & a team player
• A reasonable level of fitness due to manual handling tasks

This will be an ongoing position for the right candidate.
