About the role

We are seeking an experienced Computer Repairs Technician to join our team at As Quick IT in Geebung, QLD. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support and repairs to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing computers and laptops, ensuring devices are running efficiently

Performing routine maintenance and upgrades on customer devices

Booking in jobs and managing customer appointments

Answering phones and providing exceptional customer service and technical advice

Greeting customers in store and assisting them with inquiries and support

Ordering stock and maintaining inventory levels

Opening and closing the shop/workshop, ensuring a clean and organized environment

Providing Level 1 help desk support for software troubleshooting and user assistance

Documenting all work performed and maintaining accurate records

What we're looking for

Prior experience in computer repairs and building computers

Strong knowledge of software troubleshooting

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Exceptional customer service orientation and communication skills

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

A passion for technology and helping customers

Ability to work autonomously

Honesty and reliability

Certification or diploma in computer technology or a related field is highly desirable
