About the Role:
Are you an occupational therapist looking for a new opportunity? Join an established and industry leading private practice, supporting the community across the lifespan, with a passionate, supportive and dynamic team. We are a teaching clinic, so have a variety of team members at various stages of their careers, which builds strong learning and dynamic energy throughout our team.
We work in a collaborative manner, engaging with carers and parents, educators, and other allied health professionals, from a wide variety of referral sources. Referrals are accepted across the lifespan – for children from the age of 2 years, through childhood and adolescence, and throughout adulthood. We work out of two clinics (Yarra Junction and Warragul), as well as providing community based support (e.g. home, school, kinder, aged care), and offering Telehealth coaching and intervention that can be done in the clinic or Work From Home.
We are looking for team members to join us on the journey and build or continue a strong career.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to:
Gain excellent exposure to a diverse caseload, with a range of neurotypes, disabilities and mental health challenges across the lifespan
Access a range of tools and templates
Engage in regular supervision, 1:1, group and team training
Build competence and confidence in clinical practice - intervention, assessment, programs, positive behaviour support and community engagement
Access professional development support and budget, with both internal and external opportunities, as well as self-paced learning modules
Career progression pathways and opportunities to work on projects in your passion areas
Collaborate with clinicians with backgrounds and training such as Occupational Therapy, Educational and Developmental Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling, Education, Positive Behaviour Support, psychoanalysis, Motivational Interviewing, trauma, ACT, CBT, functional behaviour analysis and more
