About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Retail Manager to oversee operations at a high-quality retail store specializing in unique and stylish products. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day store operations, lead a dedicated team, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, and oversee inventory management. Reporting directly to senior management, you will aim to meet sales goals and provide an exceptional shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and exceptional customer experiences.
Lead, motivate, and manage the retail team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Maintain excellent customer service standards to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Manage stock control and inventory, ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized.
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed store targets.
Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations as needed.
Monitor sales performance and report metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Process sales transactions accurately and ensure proper documentation of sales activities.
Conduct regular stock checks and ensure product displays are visually appealing.
Collaborate with senior management to uphold store policies and procedures.
Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar leadership role within the retail sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Passion for art, design, and delivering exceptional retail experiences.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Experience in sales, customer service, and inventory management.
Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
