Trinity Academy Moss Vale, located in the beautiful Southern Highlands, is a 50-place Centre offering long day care service. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our fantastic team. Create fresh, delicious, and wholesome menus that align with the seasons and introduce children to diverse cultural flavours.

Requirements:

Certificate III in Cookery (Qualification in childcare is preferred but not mandatory)

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

Valid Working With Children Check

Ability to design rotating menus for diverse cultures and dietary needs

Preparing meals for infants and toddlers (including puree food)

Preparing meals for children with different dietary needs and allergies

Budget management and stock control skills

Liaise with the Centre Director regarding stock of food

Ordering of weekly produce and groceries

Reliability, organization, and autonomy

Maintaining the hygiene standards in the kitchen

Maintaining a cleaning schedule in the kitchen

Collaborative spirit with educators and children

Ability to work 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday to Friday.

Promoting good nutrition to children through cooking experiences and lessons
