Salary - $75,000 - $85,000

Yuvi Gill Pty Ltd is an Adelaide based and family owned company and do deliveries across Metropolitan Adelaide area South Australia. Due to ongoing growth within the business, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team.

Your key responsibilities and role will focus on local distribution and will include:

• Local pickups/deliveries in a heavy rigid vehicle (14 pallets)
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage of goods.
• Moving pallets in/out of truck/warehouse by using electronic pallet jack or forklift.
• Inspect the truck and its load before departure to ensure everything is secure and complies with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transport schedules, and vehicle inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance on the truck, including checking oil, fuel, and tire pressure to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations, ensuring adherence to company policies and WHS guidelines.
• Good knowledge of the local area.
• Strong knowledge of safe work practices.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
• Multi drop delivery.
• Safety minded - this is paramount.

Key Requirements:

• Valid HR license & experience
• At least two years of experience driving heavy vehicles in a similar environment.
• Good knowledge of vehicle safety regulations and the ability to conduct basic maintenance and checks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Clean driving record
• Current fitness to drive medical
• Strong work ethic
• Work unsupervised
• Must have a forklift licence
