The position
We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist who’s excited about joining a growing private practice. As the first clinician to join our team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our services. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work closely with our founders, Amie and Warrick.
Your role will involve:
Providing high-quality, client-centered occupational therapy services.
Managing a diverse caseload, handpicked to support your professional growth and interests.
Collaborating with Amie, an experienced OT, to refine clinical processes and develop best practices.
Engaging in ongoing mentorship and supervision to enhance your skills and confidence.
Leveraging technology to streamline administrative tasks, allowing you to focus on client care.
We welcome applications from OTs with experience in any specialty area, particularly those looking to transition into private practice or seeking greater work-life balance.

At True North Allied Health, we believe in empowering individuals—both our team and clients—to navigate their unique journeys and live with dignity and fulfillment. Our vision is a Tasmania where everyone has the support and resources to pursue a meaningful life.
We achieve this by following our guiding principles of connection, purpose, contribution, occupational engagement, and personal and professional growth. Our values—transparency, harmony, communication, contribution, integrity, responsibility, and fun—shape how we work together and with our clients.
Founded by Amie and Warrick, True North Allied Health is a family-owned, client-focused practice built on passion and lived experience. With a carefully curated caseload, strong mentorship, and a focus on reducing administrative burdens through technology, you’ll have the freedom to focus on what you do best helping your clients.
