We are advertising an exciting opportunity to join our team as a school cleaner.

St Lawrence of Brindisi Catholic Primary School is located in the suburb of Weir Views, just 40 minutes from the CBD and 5 minutes from the Western Freeway.

This is an ongoing, part-time position classified under the 2022 CMEA Agreement as School Services Officer Category A Level 1. The pay for this position will be pro-rata of a full-time salary from $55,369 to $58,873, dependent on prior experience and a salary assessment. The hours of employment for this position will be 22.5 hours (0.6 FTE) spread over five days. As a Category A position, this role is required to work one week of the school holidays.

This position will commence on Monday, May 12, 2025, but an earlier start is preferable.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and Child Safe schools.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

The successful applicant will:

demonstrate sound time management skills

the capacity to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of the school and to take the initiative to address areas where further cleaning might be required

the capacity to work as part of a team

The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check and is expected to comply with the school’s Code of Conduct and Child Safe Policy.
