About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior IT Assistant to join our team at Vivad(Aust) Pty Ltd in Campbellfield, VIC. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing first-line IT support and assistance to our employees, ensuring their technical issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.

What you'll be doing

Provide helpdesk support and troubleshoot a variety of IT-related problems, including hardware, software, and networking issues

Respond to and resolve incoming support requests in a timely manner

Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and software

Document and maintain records of all support activities and resolutions

Work collaboratively with the IT team to identify and implement improvements to our IT infrastructure and processes

Provide training and guidance to users on the proper use of IT systems and applications

What we're looking for

Familiarity with common desktop applications, operating systems, and hardware troubleshooting

Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner

Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to quickly diagnose and resolve issues

Willingness to learn and expand your knowledge of new technologies

Strong organisational and time management skills

Relevant qualifications in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
