RETAIL STORE MANAGER

Graham House Community Centre is looking for a passionate and experienced store manager to run our family fashion retail store, GH Clothing Co, in the rural town of Murgon, Qld. GH Clothing Co is a social enterprise owned and operated by Graham House Community Centre

Our Store Manager will be passionate about clothing, our community and leadership.

The successful candidate will lead a small team of sales staff to deliver the highest level of customer service, sales and training for trainees. Responsibilities include team leadership, inventory management, reporting, visual merchandising, rostering, store maintenance, and general day-to-day operations.

GH Clothing Co is dedicated to supporting the Murgon-Cherbourg and surrounding communities. To be considered for this position you must have:

A down-to-earth attitude and customer-focused approach with a commitment to meeting community needs with empathy and dignity

An eye for detail and styling to maximize visual merchandising effectiveness

Proven track record of leading a successful team to achieve sales objectives

Demonstrated skills in training inexperienced staff

A high level of organization and communication skills

Previous store management experience in a fashion retail environment is essential.

You will need to have the ability to:

Ensure that our customers are the forefront and leave with a great customer experience, including handling complaints

Ensure POS System is functioning properly and that the registers are balanced and closed every day

Manage banking and end of day reconciliation

Keep up to date industry knowledge and suggest stock based on customer needs

Manage stock and ordering

Ensure compliance with company values, policy and standards.
