About the Role:

The People, Quality and Risk team has recently undergone a contemporary review to set the team up for future growth and development success. Following this review, we are seeking a strategic thinking, experienced and proactive professional to join the team in the role of Compliance, Safety and Risk Manager.

This newly created position reports directly to the General Manager People, Quality and Risk and is responsible for ensuring that Intereach adheres to all relevant legislation, regulations, standards and accepted industry practices. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating organisational risks, promoting a culture of safety, and ensuring Intereach continues to deliver a high-quality and compliant service to the communities we serve.As a member of the Strategic Leadership Team, the Compliance, Safety and Risk Manager will possess strong leadership skills and contribute to key outcomes that algin with the organisations strategic plan. The Compliance, Safety and Risk Manager will commit to lead Intereach with humility and integrity, while fostering a culture of continuous growth and development. This includes a commitment to champion diversity, equality, inclusion, health and wellbeing.

If this sounds like you and you hold a tertiary qualification in Work Health and Safety, Risk Management, Compliance, or other related field or less formal qualification with 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in an organisation of a similar size and at least 3+ years in managerial roles, then we would love to hear from you.

This position is full time (38hrs per week) and can be based at any Intereach office requiring regular in-office presence and the willingness to travel as required.

This position has been classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award as a Level 7 with an annual salary starting at $115,062.48 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging options.
