Security Network Engineer - Fortinet Deployment

3 + Month Contract

$70 to $90 per Hour inclusive super

Hybrid/Melbourne CBD

This new contract role requires expertise in Security Network Engineering and extensive deployment knowledge of Fortinet firewalls and the support and enhancement of SD-WAN deployment for optimised connectivity and applications performance.

Career knowledge, skills and experience is required in the following areas:

Fortinet firewalls, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer

Fortinet SD-WAN, configuration templates, policy optimization, and next gen firewall features

Meraki wireless solutions/general wifi configurations and optimization

Cisco routing and switching

Maintaining and Supporting Enterprise WAN environments

LAN, WAN, Datacenter, and Cloud environments

The deployment, management, and support of remote network hardware and services, including on-premises and cloud connectivity, switching, routing, firewalls, SD-WAN, load balancing and wireless technologies.

Hybrid or cloud environments (e.g., FortiGate Cloud, integration with AWS/Azure)

SD-WAN, Zero Trust architecture and next-generation firewall (NGFW) features

Network protocols, SDWAN, firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Fortinet FCP (NSE4, NSE5) / FCSS (NSE6, NSE7) Network Security
