About Chronic Therapy

Chronic Therapy is a leading telemedicine clinic that provides compassionate, high-quality care to its patients.

Currently, half of our patients are being treated for obesity with weight-loss medications. We believe in holistic medicine and have just onboarded a dietician who teaches patients how to eat properly to maximise results and create lasting results as they transition off these medications.

The other half of our patients are currently prescribed a range of cannabis medications for a variety of Chronic conditions (approximately 85% of current patients have chronic pain). It is important that any doctor who joins our team is one of the over 7,000 authorised prescribers of cannabis medications in Australia and is passionate about these medications. If you are not yet an Authorised Prescriber for cannabis, but would like to fast track your AP application, we would like to hear from you.

We also aim to establish ourselves as one of Australia’s leading telemedicine clinics for general practice, providing convenient and accessible care for patients who are time-poor or face challenges visiting a traditional GP. Our goal is to offer comprehensive treatment for a wide range of conditions typically managed in a GP clinic.

What Separates Chronic Therapy From Other Telemedicine Clinics?

We have a dedicated full-time customer service team to support our patients (live chat, calls & email).

Our customer service team also works as personal assistants to the doctors.

Streamlined Systems - Our custom patient intake forms and other treatment progression surveys allow doctors to provide a very hight standard of consultations very quickly.

We have developed a state-of-the-art Patient Portal with the following features:
1. Patients can log in to view all of their e-scripts and dosage protocols,
2. Order and track their prescribed medications and repeats,
3. Book/ reschedule consultations with clinicians,
4. Live Chat with our customer service team.

Who We're Looking For

✅ AHPRA-registered doctor (GP or Specialist)
✅ An Authorised Prescriber (AP) of medical cannabis – OR willing to become one (we provide support)
✅ Exceptional patient care & bedside manner
✅ Reliable and punctual
✅ Able to commit at least 2 hours per week

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

✔ Medicare billing eligibility
✔ Individual Healthcare Identifier (IHI)
✔ Provider Number (linked to a Sole Trader)
✔ Full Medical Indemnity Insurance
✔ Current Working With Children Check & National Police Check
