Oral Health Therapist / Hygienist – Maternity Leave Cover

Location: NDC Townsville | 4 Days Per Week | Potential for a Permanent Role

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist to join NDC Townsville on a maternity leave cover for four days per week. There is also the possibility of this role transitioning into a permanent position.

About National Dental Care – Townsville

Our 5-chair dental practice is fully QIP accredited and equipped with modern technology, including an OPG/CBCT machine, MIS, NEOSS, and NOBLE BIOCARE implant systems, as well as intraoral cameras. Having served the community for many years, we have a well-established patient base and a collaborative, supportive team.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our dentists to provide a range of preventative and therapeutic oral health care services. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, including:

• Diagnosing and managing oral health conditions
• Performing hygiene treatments, including cleaning and polishing teeth
• Educating patients on oral hygiene and preventative care

About You

• Ideally 2+ years’ experience, though new graduates with strong clinical skills are welcome to apply
• AHPRA-registered Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to patient care and professional development
