Experienced Aged Care Hospitality Attendant required for Residential Aged Care

We are seeking for a permanent part time and casual staff working in kitchen in a modern and well equipped 94 bed Residential Aged Care facility situated in Wellington Point, QLD.
Aged Care experience preferred as the role will require you to be a kitchen and or Hospitability Assistant.
Including preparation of texture modified foods and alternative diets and function work.
The facility operates a dietician approved 4 week rotational menu which is changed seasonally. All food is prepared from scratch at our onsite kitchen. It is essential you have experience in the fast paced kitchen and have a vast cooking knowledge and a positive attitude for working with the elderly.
Candidates must have a current police check, up to date covid-19 vaccination and the booster dose, possess excellent communication skills, be physically fit and are passionate about the food they are creating for our Residents.
Great working hours, no split shifts. You will be working to cover morning and afternoon shifts. Must be available over weekends and public holidays.
This position reports to the Head of Hotel Services on site.

Essential

• All aged care workers must be willing to be vaccinated against seasonal influenza in order to enter an aged care facility - as such all successful applicants will be required to provide proof of vaccination
• All successful applicants will be required to provide proof of their up to date ( double dose + Booster dose) Covid-19 vaccination prior to commencement
• Must have a current national police certificate or be willing to complete a criminal history check
• Must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa
