Client Services Officer | Financial Planning Firm

The Firm:
Our client is a high quality integrated financial planning & accounting firm with a rich, long standing history in the Brisbane market. Founded over 35 years ago, they have established themselves as one of the premier boutique financial services firms in Brisbane. Employing over 40 staff, they are in a significant growth phase and due to the onboarding of several new large clients in the financial planning team, they are looking for an adaptable, motivated and organised client services officer to support the team across a broad range of duties.
The Position:
This role is suited to candidates who are looking for a long term opportunity in administration, as the firm are looking to nurture someone's progression in becoming the financial planning practice manager.

2 to 3 + years previous experience within financial planning/services is essential for this position.
Duties will include:
Supporting the Financial Advisers in a team structure
Entering clients’ information accurately into multiple databases
Proactive administration of clients’ accounts
Liaising with Fund Managers, insurance/superannuation/platform providers
Preparation of client forms
Portfolio Reconciliations ensuring all investment transactions and distributions are up to date and accurate
Maintain client review program
Implementation of recommendations for new and existing clients with Advisers / Client Managers / Managers direction including all client transactions, applications, withdrawals, account amendments, underwriting requirements.
Generating and preparing reports for Advisers and Client Managers for client meetings
Sourcing & providing client reports – Centrelink, Account Summary portfolio reports etc
Managing adviser and client expectations
Liaise with clients, team, wider firm, service providers
Managing workflow and tasks to ensure deadlines are met
Assist in the preparation of advice documents in a timely manner
Monitor client cash levels
Preparation of OFA documentation
Preparation of Training Certificates and maintenance of Training Register
Invoicing
Ideally you will have:
2 - 3 + years administration experience in a client services officer role
Excellent communication skills and personal presentation
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Continuous desire for use of technology to enhance work efficiencies
A strong degree of initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Enthusiasm and self-motivation
