Adept Fire Protection Services is looking for an junior fire door carpenter to join our service team. We have secured a large pipeline of works over the coming years and are looking some of the best in the industry to be a part of the team and grow with us.

This is fantastic opportunity for a carpenter/handy-man to get a start within the fire industry, which is an industry that is continually growing. This opportunity will come with plenty of on the job training both formally and informally.

Your duties will include:

Assist with the installation and maintenance of fire doors and frames in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations

Assist with carrying out fire door repairs including door shaves, adjustments and hardware replacements

Carryout fire door and frame installations, removals and painting

Measuring and cutting materials to size

Accurately interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Using hand and power tools to complete carpentry tasks

Ensuring work is completed to a high standard of quality and within project timelines

Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment

Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and understanding of project requirements

To be successful in this role you will have:
