Life Medical Centre is looking to expand our existing clinical team and welcome a new Accredited Exercise Physiologists or Physiotherapist to assist in the delivery of our licensed ONERO Osteoporosis Exercise Program in Erina.

Life Medical Centre is the exclusive licensee for ONERO, an evidence-based exercise program that is the outcome of the LIFTMOR Study undertaken by Prof. Belinda Beck and the Griffith University. ONERO is designed to specifically focus on the prevention of osteoporotic fracture by stimulating bone development and preventing falls in at-risk individuals.

We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist to provide initial assessments, and implement ONERO exercise programs for our patients in a group setting.

The right candidate will facilitate care from a patient-centred approach and take value working within an interdisciplinary team of health professionals to deliver tailored ONERO classes.

Life Medical Centre will invest in the suitable candidate, funding the cost of their ONERO license and training to provide them with new skills and expertise in the management of Osteoporosis.

Roles and Responsibilities for delivery of ONERO:

Complete 6 hour ONERO online training

Deliver group-based Exercise Classes utilising the ONERO systems, for groups up to 12

Focus on the prevention of Osteoporosis and osteoporotic fractures for ONERO patients

Stimulate strength and bone development with ONERO guidelines

Maintain group classes within the ONERO standards

Qualifications and Experience:

Accreditation in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy

Current first aid/CPR

Minimum 2 years experience working with clients in both 1:1 and group based capacity
