About the Role

$45-50 per hour (pending experience)

Work Van & Fuel Card provided

Travel across Melbourne Suburbs and CBD

Duties

Working autonomously onsite across both residential and commercial properties

Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across residential and commercial sites.

Read, interpret, and work from electrical plans, schematics, and technical drawings.

Install and terminate power, lighting, and data cabling.

Carry out switchboard installations and upgrades.

Conduct fault finding, testing, and diagnostics on electrical systems.

Ensure all work complies with AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules and relevant safety standards.

Collaborate with builders, trades, and clients to coordinate site activities.

Accurately complete job documentation, including safety paperwork and compliance certificates.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised worksite

Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Identify and report potential hazards or safety issues on site.

Skills and Experience

3 + years of experience in a similar role

Must hold a current ‘A' Grade Electrical Licence

Valid manual driver’s licence

All necessary tools of the trade to complete tasks to a professional standard

Ability to understand and interpret plans

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Has a great can-do attitude and enjoys collaborating with others

Must be punctual and reliable

Ability to work autonomously and manage your own jobs
