About the role

The current position advertised is for an experienced senior Industrial / electrician (Leading Hand) to join our growing team for work around Ipswich and Brisbane.

• Lead and supervise electrical teams on site to ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in compliance with safety regulations
• Undertake electrical installations across a range of industrial & commercial projects
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan and execute work efficiently
• Provide on-site training and mentoring to junior electricians to develop their skills
• Liaise with clients, project managers and other contractors to coordinate work schedules and resolve any issues
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and safety procedures

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Qualified electrician with a minimum of 4 years' post-apprenticeship experience, including at least 2 years in a leading hand or supervisory role
• Thorough understanding of electrical theory, installations, maintenance and testing procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and a track record of creating a safe working environment
• Current Queensland electrical license and construction industry white card

Skills and experience

• Current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic licence
• Current drivers licence (Manual)
• Current construction industry white card
• Ability to travel when required with LAHA allowances
