About the role

As an External Auditor - Manager at Reliance Auditing Services, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our diverse client base. Reporting to the Audit Partner, this full-time position is based in our Perth CBD office and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.

What you'll be doing

Lead and manage the end-to-end external audit process for a portfolio of clients across various industries

Identify and assess risks, design appropriate audit procedures, and deliver high-quality audits that meet professional standards

Provide strategic advice and recommendations to clients on improving their financial reporting and internal controls

Mentor and develop more junior members of the audit team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment

Contribute to the continuous improvement of the firm's audit methodologies and documentation

Liaise effectively with clients, regulators, and other key stakeholders

What we're looking for

4+ years of post-qualification experience in external auditing, ideally within a top-tier accounting firm or a medium to large corporate organisation

Proven track record of managing complex audits and delivering exceptional client service

Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, corporate reporting requirements, and relevant legislation

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders

Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance, and membership with CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand
