About the role

Are you an experienced Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Driver looking for a casual position with a leading Indigenous company? Waalitj Freight and Logistics is seeking a skilled HC Truck Driver to join our team based in Bassendean Perth. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across Perth to Pilbara.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate HC trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle roadworthiness

Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations and company policies

Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation

Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as required

Provide excellent customer service to clients

What we're looking for

Valid HC driver's licence with a clean driving record (HR Licence will be considered)

Forklift Licence

Load restraint skills

Minimum 2 years' experience operating HC trucks

Knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

Strong communication and customer service skills
