The Role

Positions are suitable for all levels of experience and generous salary will be awarded as such. Salary range of $55 - $60 per hour depending on experience and responsibility.

The role is full time and whether your goal for moving rural is work life balance or to get ahead financially including Fifo, rosters can vary between 38-45 hours per week.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Accurate and efficient dispensing of prescriptions using Dispense Worx in accordance with the Pharmacy Act 1964 (WA)

Checking dosing administration aids, prescription management and liaising directly with facilities

Professional patient counselling and providing complete patient care solutions

Promoting generic substitution & scripts on file

Supervise the safe and effective use and sale of S2 and S3 medicines

Medicare reconciliation

Managing the day to day running of the dispensary, meeting targets and keeping within budgets.

Effective management of all team members, providing coaching and support to Interns, Student Pharmacists and Dispensary Assistants

Dispensary inventory management and order processing

Providing vaccination services

Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours

AHPRA Registered pharmacists (essential).

Minimum of a Bachelor of Pharmacy.

Knowledge in Pharmacy Practice Incentives and Professional Services.

Patient focused, flexible and customer driven to provide exceptional pharmacy services and patient counselling.

Ability to perform duties in accordance with Pharmacy Board of Australia.

Well-developed communication skills and flexibility to adjust to and implement change

Sharing of knowledge/resources and ability to build/motivate successful teams

Dedication to succeed, together with decision making and problem-solving capabilities

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

High level of integrity and professionalism

Previous experience with professional services: Medadvisor, NDSS, DAA, PPA and Pharmaprograms

Goal Orientated
