Auto Electrician - Full-Time Position

About the Role:

As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems across a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, 4WDs, and caravans. Your duties will include:

Installing and troubleshooting electrical wiring systems.

Diagnosing and repairing faults in electronic vehicle systems, including lighting, alternators, and starter motors.

Installing accessories such as dual battery systems, immobilisers, alarms, brake controllers, and UHF radios.

Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve electrical issues.

Performing maintenance and repairs on electrical components in line with industry standards.

Collaborating with team members to ensure top-tier service delivery.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A Trade Qualification (Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology).

A manual C Class QLD Driver’s License.

Previous experience in automotive electrical repairs and installations.

A strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostic procedures.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

A proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.

The ability to deliver high-quality work within specified timeframes and under minimal supervision.

A willingness to work off-site occasionally to support installations and service.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working on a variety of vehicles, including 4WDs and caravans.

Knowledge of CAN bus systems, ECU diagnostics. (advantageous but not essential)

Refrigerant Handling License (advantageous but not essential).

Strong project/task management skills.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
