About the role

Are you an experienced Hospitality professional passionate about sharing your knowledge and skills with the next generation of industry leaders? This is your opportunity to join the Hospitality Institute of NSW as a full-time Hospitality Trainer and Assessor, based in Baulkham Hills, NSW.

What you'll be doing

Deliver engaging training in all aspects of hospitality operations, from food and beverage service, gambling compliance to food safety.

Courses will be delivered in person, via virtual workshops or a blended

Assess students' skills and knowledge to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements

Provide one-on-one coaching to support students' professional development

Collaborate with the broader training team to continuously improve the quality of our vocational education programs

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years' experience working in a senior hospitality role, such as duty manager, bar supervisor, gaming supervisor.

Formal qualifications in hospitality or tourism.

Applicants must be currently approved with L&GNSW to deliver the following course:

RSA

RCG

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Prior experience using Axcelerate will be highly regarded.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess student performance and provide tailored feedback

Excellent computer skills are needed, including using Zoom, MS Teams etc.
