The Role

• Daily pick-up and delivery of furniture componentry in Melb Metro
• Delivery of commercial furniture in Melb Metro
• Placement of furniture onsite
• Occasional delivery of commercial furniture in Vic Country
• Occasionally assist in assembly of furniture onsite
• Very occasional delivery of commercial furniture Interstate
• Very occasionally assist in installation work onsite
• Maintain clean presentation of company truck
• General warehouse duties as required
• Assist with picking and packing orders
• Assisting with furniture assembly in the factory
• Assist with loading and unloading couriers, trucks, and containers

The successful candidate will report to our Operations Manager and will contribute significantly to our team effort to ensure customer satisfaction

Experience, Attributes, and Skills required

The successful applicant will:

• Hold a current medium-rigid truck licence
• Have excellent English-speaking skills
• Be physically fit and strong, and able to lift weight safely
• Have well-groomed presentation
• Have an even-temperament, and positive customer service mindset
• Be able to work safely, quickly, and efficiently
• Have a high level of attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
• Be an enthusiastic team contributor, willing to learn new skills

Other experience, skills, and attributes which are not essential, but would be advantageous:

• Experience in furniture delivery
• Possession of a valid forklift licence
• Experience in furniture assembly
• Experience in equipment/mechanical maintenance
• Experience in warehousing, materials handling, and picking and packing
