Pro Steel Engineering And Fabrication is a locally owned Fabrication and installing company specializing in the construction industry to the following Residential, commercial and industrial sections. We are looking for a couple of experienced Boilermaker/Welders to join our team on a permanent full time basis.

The Role

This role requires a commitment to working as part of a team, adaptablity to a changing environment, the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and flexibility to work potential overtime hours when required. General duties for this role include but are not limited to:

Reading and interpreting drawings or taking verbal instructions to mark out, cut, weld and assemble steel and aluminium.

Perform welding in accordance with approved weld procedures and codes;

Carry out basic maintenance of welding machine and equipment to keep a clean and safe work area.

Follow all workshop and site safety requirements.

The successful candidates must have previous workshop experience and be able to demonstrate the following essential personal attributes and skills:

Sound knowledge all aspects of fabrication, including structural, plate work, aluminium work.

Mig and Tig Welding Experience.

Cert III Heavy Fabrication.

4+ years’ post trade experience.

Physically fit & enthusiastic.

Ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner.

Identify and report potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions.

A strong problem solving ability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift
