What you'll be doing
This role provides clinical leadership in the management of dialysis patients across Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health Districts. The Nurse Practitioner/Transitional Nurse Practitioner offers advanced care, decision-making, and case management.
- Delivering high-quality care to dialysis patients.
- Providing clinical leadership across both Centre and Home Therapy settings.
- Working independently within the scope of practice to manage complex cases.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient care.
- Ensuring patient safety, competency, and compassion in all treatments.

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Master of Nursing
- Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered Nurse Division 1
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of skill required in contemporary Renal nursing practice, including expert knowledge and skills in patient assessment and treatment.
- Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or Qualifications that qualify to be endorsed by the Board as Nurse Practitioner or in process of attaining same.
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, teaching and collaborative skills with evidence of participation in research/quality activities. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Member of a relevant professional body (College of Nursing), Royal college of Nursing, College of Nursing Australia, Renal Society of Australasia, Australian College of Nurse Practitioners.
- Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence.
