About the role

CM Dance' is seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Teacher to join our team at our Camp Hill studio in Queensland. As a casual Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering fun and engaging dance classes to teenagers and young adults, with a focus on developing their skills, confidence, and love of dance.

What you'll be doing

Plan and instruct dance classes for students aged 10 - 20 years

Teach a variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Jazz, and/or Contemporary

Provide a positive and nurturing learning environment to help students develop their technical skills and performance abilities

Collaborate with the studio management team to ensure the smooth running of the dance program

Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to continuously improve your teaching skills

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience teaching dance

Qualified in a recognised dance teaching method, such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) or the Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teenagers and young adults

Excellent organisational and time management skills

A genuine passion for dance and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction

Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
