The duties and team

You'll enjoy integrating into a well-connected team on site. Reporting into the leading hand, you will be responsible for;-

• Performing maintenance and breakdown repairs on a range of underground mining equipment.
• Work within a maintenance crew built of HD Fitters, Drill fitters and Auto Electricians.
• Fleet of machinery built up of Sandvik, CAT, Volvo and Normet gear.

Your skills and experience

You will be trade qualified fitter with a minimum of 1-2 years experience working on civil, road transport or agricultural - whether. Most importantly you will;-

• Mining experience desirable (not essential)
• Have an eagerness to continue/learn the UG hard rock mining sector
• Have an excellent attitude towards work and developing new skills
• Be a team player and enjoy working with likeminded individuals
• Have the ability to work autonomously and a willingness to "have a go"
• Prioritises safety as number one'
