Job Opportunity: Diploma Educator (Full-Time) at Joondalup Early Learning Centre

Joondalup Early Learning Centre (JELC) is a not-for-profit community centre on the beautiful grounds of ECU Joondalup; we are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Diploma Educator to join our vibrant team on a full-time basis. If you hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or are actively working towards one) and are committed to providing high-quality care and education, we want to hear from you!

With a strong focus on executive function, STEM, and early intervention, our Centre is dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement, and evaluate high-quality educational programs for children aged 0-5 years, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Collaborate with families, the JELC team, and the community to support each child's unique learning journey.
Support the implementation of our early intervention hub and school readiness goals.
Work closely with Chelsea, our Toddler Room Leader, to enhance children's learning experiences.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our educational practices through reflective practice and professional development.
Essential Attributes:
A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the well-being of children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Knowledge of or willingness to learn about our digital platform, OWNA, for sharing educational programs and observations with families.
Flexibility, creativity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
