We are looking for Aged Care Employee - Direct Care Staff.

Position type: Casual with bright prospects of becoming permanent part-time

Location: 79 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Wahroonga, NSW 2076

About the Role

We are looking for experienced Aged Care Employee - Direct Care Staff who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our customers. We have casual positions available, leading to permanent roles for a variety of shifts across the week, including night duty.

What's on offer:

In return, you will be offered above-award rates with a supportive management team. Our salary for this position is $29.50 - $34.19, depending on the skills and experience. We also offer salary packaging because of our PBI status (non-taxable) for part-time and full-time employees.

Buddy shifts are offered for you to get familiar with our systems and residents

Additional support in terms of online training and mentoring is also provided.

A variety of shifts are on offer to suit your availability.

About You

Be compassionate and have empathy with the elderly

Positive and friendly attitude with the passion to assist our elderly to maintain their quality of life.

Able to work cooperatively within the team and with a wide range of people

High level of verbal and written communication skills

Proactive, initiative, have the ability to solve problem and deal with unexpected situation.

Essential requirements.

Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care.

At least 6 – 12 months of experience in aged care (essential)

Full Australian working rights

Be flexible and available on short notice for varied shifts across all days of the week.

Knowledge of Aged Care quality standards
